Air travel has become a major part of our society, with industries and individuals depending on air transport for their livelihood. But have you ever wondered what happens to the artifacts of our airborne culture when they're no longer needed? More..

I have tried for a whole week to contact Sears’s Auto
Center (store # 6317) at 5244 Hickory Hollow Pkwy.
Antioch , TN 37013
The auto center phone number is 615-731-9528
I have tried to call them at all times of the day, during
the past few days to make an appointment for a brake
check on my girl friends car.

I worked for this Sears auto center long ago...in 1979
for a few years before I joined the military in 1981.
After retirement in 2003 from the USAF, I again worked
at this same auto center for a year as a customer
service advisor.

Things have sure changed in the last few years,
as I a (customer service advisor) if we didn't pick-up
the phone within 3-5 rings or so...our ratings dropped
big time! and the management monitored each call the customer
service advisors answered.
We even had the head butt_ole of the southeast region of Sears
set at the top of the hill beside the auto center in his pickup truck to
watch and evaluate the service advisors walking out with the customers
to inspect tires and etc...
I even had the auto center manager Joe Crook or his assistant manager
Troy Benson call me from their home's to act like a customer to evalutate me
on that crapy sales pitch of 4 or 5 lines we had to say on each incoming phone call.
This auto center really sucks now!

Whatever I think this auto center will be going under
soon.

anyway...the only thing I get from that Sear’s auto
center phone is an answering machine...regardless what
time of day I call.
Such a shame! I know...

Try it now!
at 615-731-9528 if you don’t believe me.

P.S. I'm forwarding a copy to a relative that worked at Sears in Chicago.
