Imagine a car that does not pollute, runs on compressed air and costs about €1.50 to fill up. Sounds like a brilliant idea and the MDI CityCAT cars are a reality. See the videos below.
However, I would suspect that oil companies would fight for ways to kill this car before it became popular because if cars ran off compressed air, who’d need petrol or gas for the car. Although we would certainly still need the filling station to buy compressed air and of course, snack food and soda.
