I’m always amazed when I read stories like this one from Washington state in the U.S. What were they thinking? I can understand wanting to have a little mother daughter time but you would think that mom would say
“Honey, didn’t I tell you not to steal the bank details and identities of your bank customers? Put them back now. Don’t make me give you a time out!”
Here is how the official story goes:
“35-year-old Cassidy Janosky of West Richland worked as a business development officer at Bank of the West. She helped businesses get loans.
Last Sunday night Janosky and her 55 year-old mother Cynthia Walker were arrested for allegedly buying thousands of dollars worth of items at Sears using stolen credit cards at Columbia Center Mall.
Police said Walker worked for Caldwell Real Estate. Police said together they would allegedly open credit cards using information from customers at the bank where Janosky worked, then have the new credit cards sent to homes in their area that were for sale and vacant.”
Well at least you can say that Cindy, as I like to call her, was good at her job. She certainly did develop a little bank business for those customers. “What, you never said I couldn’t steal money from the bank, that’s not fair.”
The next sound was the dull thud as her forehead struck the door of the squad car as they tossed her in to haul her ass to jail.
I’m shocked. If you can’t trust a bank employee, who can you trust?
