We’ve all received those spam messages from someone, typically in Nigeria, that has loads of money that needs transferring but needs a strangers help to do so. The Nigerian oil scam emails are legendary and even the FBI in the U.S. keeps tabs of them and provides a public warning about them.
Some of those spam messages are expertly crafted but most contain all sorts of typos and spelling errors, making them immediately discounted.
Rather than send billions of dollars over to help foreign countries, maybe if we just gave people a free spell checker that could put together better spam messages that would generate more local income. Think about it like internet micro-lending to help small home based businesses without all the bureaucracy.
And just to make you feel better, let’s make sure the free spam spell checker program went and sought every pop-up message on the net. Hey, no pain, no gain.
