Things aren't getting any better are they? I have a sick feeling the stock market is going to take another big dive sometime this year. If you are lucky and have a job, hold on to it!

Steve - What a relevant post for me at this time in my life. I have owned my own mortgage company for the past 5 years, so I am not technically unemployed. But, as a result of the extreme crunch caused by the credit crisis, my business has been reduced dramatically. I, too, struggle with the shame and personal blame - and long days filled with little productive (revenue generating) work do not help. Thank you for the sound advice
