So I’ve removed the ‘no follow’ tag for commenters. While for many it is a unbendable position I just figured that if someone takes a moment to share a comment then why can’t I share the love back by letting search engine follow their link back.
Some say that by removing the ‘no follow’ tag that it will hurt your position in the search engines. Oh well. I can live with that.
I actually stole the idea after reading this blog post but it makes perfect sense to me.
It might not make a big difference as far as the number of comments go but at least I know that for those that do comment, I’m doing my part to help out your link.
