I’m a Pussy and Funny Pictures of the Day

So I did purchase the Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive motorcycle / scooter. It’s a 650cc bike and you can call it what you want. They delivered it to the house yesterday.

The reason I say “I’m a pussy” is that I find it funny that other motorcycle riders won’t wave at me because I’m riding a different looking bike with an engine the same size or larger than theirs.

It’s motorcycle discrimination! But every time the “no wave” happens, it does make me smile. What’s the point of not waving? To send me a signal that I’m not part of your club?

I live in a non-denominational motorcycle land. I’m not part of any organized motorcycle club. Sounds a lot like religion, doesn’t it. Well the same things I find quirky and ironic about this whole motorcycle waving thing are the same issues that I find quirky and ironic about religion.

Why is is that all religions can’t get along and embrace each other for their own beliefs. I’m of the opinion that it is not my job to change what you believe in but to celebrate and appreciate what is important to you. Also, shouldn’t I be more worried about being the best person I can be in be in my religion rather than spending my time and energy telling you that if you don’t change you are going to hell?

If you’re into wicca, or hindu or muslim or catholic, why should it matter to me. Shouldn’t people be more worried about doing the best they can rather than simply judging others in the name of their God?

But the good news is that after watching the Sundance program “One Punk Under God” I did develop a new found respect for Revolution church in NYC.

As a pilot myself you can see how this kind of accident MIGHT happen between a high wing and low wing aircraft but there is no way that the pilot of the red low wing Cessna should have missed the approaching tan Piper on final approach if he had done his 360 degree clearing circle to look for traffic before taking the active runway.
