How Do You Check Your Credit Score Without a Credit Card

Hi I’m trying to check my credit score but i cant because I don’t have a credit card to type in and all I want to do is just know what my score is one time so i can make it good so could you please help me.

What a good question. I had to go hunt down the answer but here it is, if you use the credit score or credit report link you can pay for it with a checking account or debit card.

Actually that is quite a nice way to check in, but is their any other way that i can make it done, without paying for reports? Just asking usually.

i would like to know how can i check my credit with t-mobile, my only problem is i don’t have a credit card or debit card?

if you don’t have a credit card or a checking account, then you do not have “established” credit. (even if you have a gas bill in your name that you didn’t pay)

there is nothing to check. i tried to get a diamond ring at a jewelers, and they wanted to do a credit check. i told them i have no established credit (they scanned my california id instead) it showed “no established credit” as said.

basically you can screw over anybody if you have no credit. i suggest you don’t bother with credit and stick to paying things off 100% up front. just save up, you’ll learn to manage your money better by keeping it in a vault at home.

and don’t worry about rentals that do credit checking. in most states (especially california and most people do not know this) it is actually illegal for landlords to do credit checks. you can report them for this.

Why can’t we check out credit scores for free, without a credit card, without having to pay after the trial period is up? it is stupid
it is MY credit score not theirs.
I should be able to check it when I want for nothing…
just another way for the government to take our money
go figure america.
